Concepts for an outdoor poster campaign for Uswitch.com aimed at raising awareness of energy prices rises. Each poster is designed to be highly visible, speak directly to passers-by and induce one of three main fears concerning rising energy bills.
For electronic displays, these simple typographic posters could also be animated in some way to catch the eye and emphasise the message being conveyed.
For example, the message “Don’t get left in the dark” was designed to have parts of the sentence flicker and dim whilst the audience tried to read it, simulating the frustration and anxiety caused by loss of electricity.
